Shift was founded by Karen Zeribi in 2016, from a desire to scale the power of improvement networks to impact the many social issues we face as a society. Her vision is to bring experienced improvement professionals together to have a collective impact on the world, and to create an inspiring and energizing place to work.
The name Shift has a special meaning, as in the field of improvement science it indicates a significant signal in results, marked by six data points above or below the median. To us, Shift also represents a meaningful change in approach, perception, or point of view.
